This years Modern Pentathlon Canadian Championship was held July 23-24, Sheerbrooke, Quebec. Joel Riker-Fox received Silver in Senior Men and both Claire Laing, Senior Women, and Connie Olsen, Masters Women, placed 4th. Congratulations to all these athletes for their great performance. Joshua Riker-Fox attended on behalf of the  ARES Pentathlon Club. Darragh O’Malley represented Alberta Pentathlon in the Team Lead role, supporting all the Alberta pentathletes and noted this as a showcase of up coming athletes representing Alberta as a pentathlon hub in Canada. Athletes, family members and friends came out to support and some participated in Sunday’s Relay making this a spirited day promoting fun and friendship in the Canadian pentathlon community. Many thanks and much appreciation to Pentathlon Quebec, a young federation, for taking on organizing, hosting and delivering a wonderful event. Merci. And in the spirit of the event, Felicitation to our athletes for their success in Quebec.”
